I have always wondered if he didn't have a soft tire - with his car being a base model, he'd have no warning, and the accident played out like there may have been a soft tire that made a bad combination with tall, wet grass.

Mine have never come on from -30F to +96F. I seem to recall the previous owner saying that he had the tires filled with nitrogen but I cannot be sure of that. Not even sure what difference that is supposed to make.
