TSW Donington Wheels
Re: TSW Donington Wheels
I know this is old thread but i was looking at these tsw donington rims, i have the black mesh grilles off ebay and am plasti dipping other chrome parts of my car and using the glossifier to keep them looking like the grille.. anyways, will these being matte clash with the glossy black, or is there a way to gloss the rims?
They could be worse. A lot worse. Of course, I have ceramic brake pads so I'm not spewing dust all over mine, and mine is a weekend toy in SoCal so I'm not driving them on dirty/rainy roads. I find a little quick detail spray after a drive is all I need, and I use a synthetic spray wax on them regularly, too.
Re: TSW Donington Wheels
I've never used the glossifier with Plasti-Dip - just how glossy does it make the stuff? In "stock" form PD is very flat with almost zero gloss, but these wheels are more of a satin black than a true flat black. Unless the glossifier somehow makes PD as glossy as the paint on your car, which I kind of doubt, I think you'll be fine as far as matching goes.

Uh, yeah. Those look like they would be a pain.
