Default Aston Martin V12 Zagato steals our design! Shahaha

This is probably a dangerous idea, but I legitimately found *one* angle of the new Aston that slightly resembles our car. Check out this closeup of the rear quarter panel, very similar shoulder line.

That Aston is a beautiful car, and I would throw my Crossfire off a high cliff in a heartbeat if someone offered me one. The rest of you can gush over how beautiful the XF is and how you wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, ever.

Thirteendog... any other comments you'd like to add haha

Everyone steals our designs. Saturday at Cars n' Coffee we saw a Lambo with dual tips in the middle of the car. Obviously stolen from our cars. and don't get me started on the Porsche Boxster.

Yes, back in '96 when the Boxster came out it's painfully obvious that Porsche cribbed that design element from some drawings Eric Stoddard had done as a kid.

So you would be willing to throw your XF off a high cliff in a heartbeat for a 1/2 a million $ car.
I'm shocked.

I'm thinking some people would be willing to throw their wife of a high cliff even for a cheaper car.

Let it be said that some women would throw those same husbands of the same cliff for nothing but a ride home.

Let me see here.

Bull nose front.
Hippy rear end
Slope on the roof line.
Two doors, one on either side and a a rear hatch.

Yep, they stole our design alright.

I see it. The hips are en vogue in today's designs but the Zagato seems to mimic the curve almost exactly.

The rear end of the Zagato Aston is euber hot but the front end is old...OLD hat. I've seen plenty of Astons in Boston when I was working and all were gray. Great cars but other than the Vanquish they all seem the same.

I really hate car brands that overdo the whole 'strong genes' styling in which they feel all of their cars have to look alike or they will not be recognized for the brand they are. Toyota back in 2004 was by far my favorite brand souly for offering a range of vehicle with extremely different styling and character whilst sharing some common platforms throughout. (2004 Toyota notables: Celica, Solara,MR2 Spyder)

Chrysler did well enough when the XF was newly released in that the styling was different across the board. (Crossfire, PT, Sebring, Pacifica prior to refresh).

yes I do....I like to compare "curves". Some have wider curves than others, but I love curves...no "hills" mind you, but curves.....lol

Do you suppose the Marlin fans got worked up that the crossfire was copying their design Let them copy all they want, be sure they wont try to copy the b@stard stepchild heritage that makes our cars so unique
