I gave my new to me 2004 XF it’s first wash and detail. I’ll have some better interior shots for you later, but here’s something to appease you for the moment.
This car is EXCELLENT!!! The only thing I’ve done to the exterior is restore the headlights; install new wiper blades; wash and tire dressing. I gave the interior a good cleaning with leather cleaner/conditioner and cleaned/vacuumed the carpets. For the most part this car was in great condition when I got her from the private party I bought her from. The guy took very good care of her, and I’ll continue to do the same (probably more so). haha

I'ts pretty... but I'm glad mine is a 6 speed and that the roof is made of cloth!

 

Very nice. No one would ever think it had that many miles on it, looking that good. Great job on the headlights. Great find!

PS, I see you have 1024 resolution pics hosted at Photobucket. In the past, the most it would let me was 800. It must have changed?

 

Thanks for the comment on the headlights; I’m very pleased with the outcome. I wish I had taken some “before” pics. They weren’t the WORST, but they certainly needed some help. I used the Turtle Wax headlight restoration kit with the wet sanding pads.

As for the Photobucket thing, I just recently started an account, so I’m not sure of the changes that may have occurred.
Thanks again for the comments; I’m LOVING this car!! It’s in a completely different class from the Miata that I sold in order to fund this beautiful ride. BTW, I’m not missing the Miata one bit. Don’t get me wrong, it was a GREAT little car, but the XF is in a completely different class (as I repeat myself).

i reaaaally like the all black interior/seats ..also...looks like those exhaust tips could be shinier!!
