People Looking At My Car
People Looking At My Car
I have owned my car 6+ years now. Still love it more than the day I got it. I used to drive it everyday and constantly recieved compliments. Especially when they first came out... they were unique and really stood out in the crowd.
Just this past weekend I took it out for a quick drive. I pulled into the wash bay to hose it off. When I started it up... what a beautiful sound from the engine and exhaust! Some people that were around started staring at the car.

But that one time I started the car it sounded very mean! At least, as mean as a V6 could sound. There was a guy nearby and he just kept staring at my car. For a second I thought he was going to try and steal it.

But I prefer white because it doesn't get dirty. White also stays cool in the sun.
All around... the white color just works better.
At least for me down here in the dry south heat. And no leather!

I don't mind the Mustang look but prefer the first style when it came out in 2005.
While I like the look of the new Camaro I am not crazy about it on that car. I won't buy one because it should have continued to progress further into something more sleek like the corvette.
As for the Challenger... that car is perfect for the retro look. I love it! A classic!
And the charger should be a 2 door sports car. Don't know why it is a 4 door car. End of story!

Here's one of my experiences.
During the CAA last year, Jake from Eurocharged was coming in and I chose to meet him at the exit ramp and lead him in to the HOTEL and our factory.
So for about 20 minutes I am on the side of the road. Top down on my wel ldetailed freshly washed and waxed Crossie roadster.
Quite a few guys and at least four pretty women stopped by in Vettes and other sproty cars, just to see if this ugly old fart needed some help. Yeah, they stopped by to see the car.
I have been stopped at the same place with my old 95 Dodge truck and had no one give a spit about it.
These cars are better babe magnets than a puppy.

The Trans Am came out in the 80's with a new body style. Knight Rider. The hottest thing on the road at that time (other than the Vette and exotics). Sleek lines and awesome handling car. Camaro was a little more clumsy on the lines and interior.
Now the next generation was released. Even more sleek like the corvette. Im my opinion "the cheap mans vette" with extra seats in the back for kids. In my opinion an excellent car. The Mustang of the time outsold the Camaro.... DONT ASK ME WHY! The Camaro and Trans Am models were fabulous cars compared to the ugly Mustang.
Rather than continue the tradition with the new Camaro and progress... they steal the concept from the Mustang and go backwards. Just doesn't make sense to me.
