even if you are in calf,, if you go through Needswings the price is better and you can still take or ship to unitrax, as needswings made a deal with them for them to do the install even though it was needswings who sold it to you. jim

2.used oem 400$ (no way to know how long it will last)
3. osgiken 8000$ if you can get them to build it
4. wavetrac 1200$ and warrentied for life up to 1000 hp
so you see even if you dont race your car and the diff fails the wavetrac is the way to go.

read this . it explains everything. well almost everything,,, the only thing left out is the wavetrac well fit any crossfire srt6 or limited. jim

no worries. for the xfire diff the failure point seems to be the spider gears or the roll pin that holds everything together. you will reuse your oem ring and pinion gear so doing this before any damage occurs would be best. the s/c xfires have a lot more power and it seems to affect them more but be aware the n/a diff is the same setup and subject to the same failures.

thank you for clearing the axle situation up.i just rethreaded my 12mm x 1.5 semi stripped hubs to 14 mm x 1.5 and do not want to have to take those off.thanks for the info im in the market for the wavetrac.took it out of my imaginary kids college fund.lol.i got the chevy 350 and with 425 lbs tq imma need that in by next month.any answers you have on the diff ill digest.unbolt remove send ,get back and reinstall is the basic theory i suppose.you can use everything even driveshaft?and finally what is the difference inthe 2 wavetrac diff's needswing sells 1 costs more than the other?
