These kits are not my cup of tea, but I will say that the 'Gray Marblewood" looks very nice.

The thing that bothers me some what, is that you still have the ***** and switches coming thru with Silver, and that seems to clash in my opinion.

I'm wondering if there was any easy way to make the switches blend in with the kit...???

Don't shoot the messenger, cause this crowd will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat...lol...

(I thunk I spelled everything write...)

Thanks, that was the reason I chose the dark burl over a wood tone, it goes more with the slate.
I had entertained the idea of doing the switch out to the SLK's buttons, such as someone else has already done on the forum. Just waiting for a LOT of extra cash to do so

I have seen several of the dash kits in different cars. They all look like what they are, basically vinyl or wood stuck on with adhesive. Not for me. I agree the instrument cluster on our cars is not elegant or luxurious, but those kits , In my opinion, look much worse.

It has been a long time since my first comments. I would like to update and say that I think it looks like a seventies Buick. (not the Electra)
The Japanese put this stuff in their cars for years because they thought we had to have it based on what they saw coming out of Deetroit. So when you see a lexus, don't feel flattered.

As far as my question about spelling........it was rhetorical, it did not require an answer.

I spelled the city above the way some people pronounce it.

Wishing all well during the holidays.
