Default esp/bas light coming on

Has anyone had a problem with the bas/esp light coming on? Mine comes on randomly and then applies abs to the front left brake for a split second and then disables itself for the rest of the car ride. It can be scarry when the light comes on doing 65mph, jerks the car. Took it in for service and they say they have fixed it this time. Guess i will find out after lunch when i pick it up. They told me it was a loose connection. Wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and if so what the fix was.

Hmmm, the only time I've seen that light come on was just recently after an Upsolute ECU Upgrade (battery disconnect). To clear the error...

Start vehicle > leave in Park/Neutral > Turn steering wheel all the way to the left and hold for 5 seconds > Turn steering wheel all the way to the right and hold for 5 seconds > Then bring it back to center > Light should go off

That should clear the error. Why it is coming on doing 65 is definitely scary!

Only time I had that light come on was after I connected the battery. Loss of power will put it into "learn mode". After driving a block or so, the light goes out and never comes back

Your situation sounded more like a wiring issue. If they said they found a loose connection, that should do the trick.

THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM. IT WAS A BAD SENSOR AND IT WAS REPLACED. THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S HELP. IT WAS SCARY, IF IT WASN'T ON WHEN I STARTED THE CAR IT WOULD COME ON RANDOMLY AND THAT IS WHEN IT WOULD JERK THE CAR WHEN YOU DON'T EXPECT IT. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL DO THE TRICK.

Could be real fun on I264 in a pack of traffic @ 70+. Glad they got you fixed up.
