Graphite Crossfire!
Graphite Crossfire!
ok, so some of you might remember me I joined a few days ago and I asked some questions about the crossfires! I am actually going to buy it tomorrow and I was wondering, is there anyway I could make the exhaust louder for a reasonable price, and how dark should I tint my windows without getting pulled over? Also I want to tint my tail lights but I dont know how dark to go, I dont want to get rear ended LOL, I live in california, Los Angeles, As far as exhaust im not looking at a whole new system at the moment, just sound thanks!
-Jarrett!
here are some fun pics of it too, if you guys want more, just lemme know

For exhaust, you may want to look at a Megan Racing MR-S. You can pick them up on Amazon.com for around $125 or so. I put mine on this past weekend and really like the sound. I have an ANSA muffler on my roadster. The ANSA's run about $220 or so.

My coupe came with tinted windows when I bought it a few months back. The tint is dark enough for me:

Re: Graphite Crossfire!
Emutz,
I'm new here, so no answers, but welcome! You have the interior I liked best, but I found it only in two cars that didn't otherwise meet requirements. Yours is beautiful, and I think Graphite must be the perfect color for that interior.
Enjoy the Crossfire! Enjoy this group.

Re: Graphite Crossfire!
Here in Indiana the legal limit on tint is 35%. That's what I have on my car. Take a look at some of my pictures if you want an idea. If you have it done professionally then you can ask them what is legal in your state. They will do illegal tint but, they will make you sign a waiver.

Re: Graphite Crossfire!
Congrats on the purchase, and welcome to the permagrin club.
I have the Sapphire Silver Blue with Cedar/Slate interior, and love it.
I was originally hoping for a Black Roadster with Cedar and low Mileage, but got tired of looking for one on the after market.
When I found the SSB with low miles, I pulled the trigger, and never looked back...

Re: Graphite Crossfire!
Graphites are awesome. You should check with CA motor vehicle law. I did not bother in MI, and went with 35% on the sides and 15% on the rear. It looks awesome on the SRT6 and 2007. Not worth doing on the roadster. Reason for darker rear window is to cut down on SUV headlights blinding you and to make looking in the "trunk" more difficult. No problems with cops but I've only had the tint for one summer.
