How tall can you go with your tires? or How tall are you running? Let me kow Thanks
I am selling my Falken452 255 40 19
So I am planning to get the Continental DWS 275 or 285 ;-)
I have tried the 275 40 19 Michelin A/s plus once.
It looked like they could fit but when you install the tire the axle is going down then the shape of the frame wheel gets tighter.
So when you try to fit the tires it does not work but look like if you could get the axle at the same level ( at the center point of the wheel frame it would work.
Damn, I hope I explain myself well.
Anyway,
What is the minimum clearance to keep on each side, right and left? (at each bottom of the wheel frame)?
Any idea, if a 275 40 19 will fit how to install it? How will it be possible to keep the axle align in the wheel frame?
Thanks for your help!
Maybe, some Amsoil oil on the wheel will help to fit? J/K
By the way, the 235/40/18 Continental DWS are great , taller than the Sumitomo 225/40/18, different look too.
Felt like a hard ride once installed but the tech put a 38psi. So at 32 it is a nice ride for a coupe.
For any interested
Paid $300 + $30 for installation and balance
Sold $120 my Sumitomo Final cost is $210
Will get next week the rear and when you buy 4 continental, You get a flip video!
Thanks for your help
