Congrats Gary! Does this mean you're a member of the double your pleasure club or are you planning on selling the SSB?

Happy Birthday!!!! The only issue is the color - RED! Argh!!!! But finding a low mileage, early model coupe is a great find!!!! Even a red one!!!!

I'm looking at a 2004 model right now that has just barely over 10k on the ODO. Seller & me aren't quite together yet. I'm willing to pay a fair market price; he wants a premium due to low mileage & clean history.

Also looking at a 2003 MB SLK32 AMG with just under 50k on the ODO. Kinda eerie looking at the car because it's the precursor to our XFires (MB R170 chassis).

Valk - Happy belated B-Day!

When's Tammy's birthday? I think she needs a X-Fire roadster to go with her Bimmer.

Enjoy buddy.

James, You were the only one here who perceived the wording in my initial post to be as you say "fishy" !!!

OK now everyone I have to clarify to all of you here......
I looked at this Crossfire for a friend and I put the deposit on it on my friends behalf and "my friend" is the one who bought this Crossfire.
Some of you even know my friend. .ORG, CICCI

If you read my initial post I never said "I" bought the car.
Just having some fun with ya all on my Birthday.
I love my Crossfire and I certainly don't need two of them.

Loved reading all your responses though.
Some may think that only Rudy likes to pull your leg here once in awhile but I am guilty of this to this time....LOL

See ya at some upcoming meets this summer in my 5th year of owning my first and only Crossfire to date.

Gary

A little too early for "April Fools" Gary.

But you got us fools good.

Just remember what they say about payback.

Gary - OK, you got us, but clearly, Tammy still needs a roadster.

Hope your friend enjoys the new ride.

I figured this when I posted but figured I'd bite just to see what kind of response you'd offer. Was kinda hoping you were looking to get rid of the SSB on the cheap. It does need a V8 you know. LOL

Well we practically all fell for that one. Just goes to show you that as a group, owning more than one XFire is considered a fairly normal thing!

Happy Birthday!!
