Default Thank God For Warranty!

This week i had my crank shaft sensor go out, and i have been having trouble with my secondary air intake, and my heated seats wouldn't work! I just got off the phone with the repair shop and they said that the cost of the repairs was going to be $4000! WOW But the amazing thing is that i bought another warranty to cover all non wear items till 104,000 miles! I only bought the warranty for 1,500 and have already used it once to replace the ball joints! Thank God for Warranty!

Yes indeed you got your money's worth and then some. As these cars get higher mileage I believe that warranty will pay for itself even more. In the Xfire case, more miles is going to mean more expense. IMHO I believe that we will start to see more cars in the junk yards due to the cost to repair them mechanically as the car ages. In one way that is going to be good news for body parts in the future.

I bought a 4 year 40,000 mile 0 deductible warranty in April for $1800.00. I had a steering angle sensor and all of the seat heaters replaced. It has already paid for itself. I have been very happy with the decision to purchase it.

I paid $1445 for a dealer 84-month 60k mile warranty in 4/2005 and have had no reason to use it. Only 36k on the vehicle. I'm starting to think it was a waste of money. This car is rock solid. I'll know for sure in 16 more months.

completely agree ..... the plan is use the xFire for fun drives, keep the mileage as low as you can, and wait for the "parts" to come available.
