Maybe both.

Kurtis, the Honda Insight always tends to catch my eye too.
It's definitely one of those vehicles that have more people that don't like it than do but I am a big fan and would love to own one. Prices are great but only for high mileage models. Honda at least covers the battery for 150k miles. Used Insights over 150k miles can be had for a song due to no coverage but I am sure they are still usable for many more years.
A few years before they were discontinued I got to sit in one at an auto show and it was extremely comfortable. This was before I had my Crossfire. Funny, this was the same car show I laughed at the 'storage' area on the Crossfire roadster only solidiying my love for the coupe. Anyways, the Insight for being such a small car was extremely comfortable more room than the Buick I was driving at the time.
Since it was towards the entry level in pricing the quality of materials were a bit cheap but if taken care of is fine but you can see the wear on some used models.
The Today Show back in 1999 had a segment on hybrid cars showcasing the Prius and Insight and I was amazed when they said the manual Insight could get around 70-75mpg hwy. I was certain the Insight would have been the better seller but the extra seating in the Prius won out for familys.
So yeah, I still want one but I could only forsee it being a seasonal vehicle. I have not seen one in the winter and even if it could be driven, I'm sure the salt would make the hybrid tech go nuts.

Mine is a 05 Black that came from Idaho a few months ago....I have only seen one or maybe two other crossfires here in northern Utah.
I have seen a couple of them south of Salt Lake, but they are rare around here.
It would be nice to know there are other xfire owners close by.

Ok I live in Meridian, close to Nampa and like Jim we also have 2 Crossfires. Idaho is only about 9 hours away from you.

Re: Saw these on my road trip
I ran into one of you potato pullers on I-84 going East around Meridian on my way to Laramie in summer of 2009.... we ran together till he went into Boise..... it was a NA coupe...I'm thinking SSB.... I did give him a speed burst just so he could play catch-up......
Re: Saw these on my road trip
Last time I saw a wienermobile was a few weeks ago, about a mile from where I live. It was awesome.
There are a couple of Crossfires in my neighborhood as well, but I don't see them very often. One is a white convertible and the other is a black limited coupe I think.
