Default Post Your Cup Holder Stories

Went through a Whataburger drive thru and ordered a #7 with a medium diet Coke and finagled it into the cup holder.

Drove down the road a few blocks and went to take a sip and found out there was nothing but ice left. The stupid holder poked a hole in the bottom of the cup and quietly drained the contents.

I'm very glad it wasn't a sticky regular Coke but it was still a mess to clean up.

Went to Taco Bell and order a sweet tea. On my way back to work there's a turn I like to take hard if the opportunity is there. This just happened to be a day that I shifted to 2nd, accelerated down the street and took the turn hard. So hard the cup came out of the cup holder, landed in my passenger seat. I called the detailer and had him clean it up

That's only 1 line. You can't tell a proper story with 1 line.

Those people who's taste-buds have never experienced a Whataburger can't imagine what their missing. Personally, I like the double/double. But I would never do the drive-thru in my Crossfire.

Guess you can chalk it up to a lessons learned.

That's true. They don't offer much lateral support either.

It's my wifes story-but I'll tell it.

20 oz. Iced Cappuccino. Foam cup. Explosion. Everywhere. Clean like a mad woman before husband (me) finds out. Clean some more. Vacuum. Clean some more. Hide all evidence. Pray. Pray some more.

2 days later husband (me) takes console out to install Bluetooth module.

I let her live, but I remind her of this every chance I get...

I was trying to fit three people in the car. I don't even want to tell you the reason. Anyway, My ex girl friend sat on my cup holder and broke it side ways. Her butt got up on the center console to make room for her friend that she was going to sit on top of.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the view of my ex girl friends butt, but not when it broke my cup holder.

I went on a little road trip this weekend and I decided to put a Tim Hortons coffee cup in my cupholder. there was some stop lights and a few sharp corners I took a little too fast. You know what ... my coffee cup staied right where it is suppose to! No tipping over, no poked holes, no bumping it with my elbow, no spills or drips. Heck... I even put a bottle of water beside it and had no issues with that also!

I don't know why everyone complains about their cupholder popping out. Mine does and I love it!

I have the same story, but can one-up the writer. This happened to me on the way home from the dealer.
