! - HOT door handle !
I just got back from a very brief drive and discovered that my door handle on my driver side was especially hot. Almost to the point where it could burn my hand, and it's night time and cool out right now. I'm very worried that this may be an electrical problem or something with the window motor. I have noticed that every once in a while the window on the same side will make a "clunk" sound when rolled down, as if it needed to be opened up and greased. Nothing severe at all though, which is why this is very concerning for me. Has anybody experienced this in the past or have any ideas of what could be the issue? Much appreciated.
Edit: This is the interior door handle and the panel surrounding it is quite warm as well.

Re: ! - HOT door handle !
the only thing i would say is electrical problem. there is nothing really in that door besides a speaker a tweeter and the window motor. speaker is to far away. so check the tweeter and window motor. window motor is prob it. take off the door panel. (u can find a thread on how to do so. ) and then put the window up an down. listen to clicks or like a tripping grounding out electrical sound. feel for heat as well. locate be you ear and the sound where the motor is located. if it makes sound mine as well change it anyway. that should solve it.

If you look at my pictures there is one of the inside of the door without the door panel in place and the outside face of the door panel as well. The screw attachment points are shown on both.
I cannot see an electrical problem causing this problem without a fuse blowing or a smell.
