Driver side mirror
Driver side mirror
Well, long story short, someone vandalized my XF for the 3rd time out front of my house. Now I need a new mirror. Not the entire thing, just the mirror plate. The plastic disc and motor housing seem to be fixable with super glue. Anyone know where I can get the driver's side mirror plate for cheap?
Re: Driver side mirror
Yes, but it's about 5 miles away. It's sitting in there for the time being until I can fix the mirror. I'm using an old Celica a family member lent me for the time being.
I found these two on ebay:
04-08 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE DRIVER MIRROR GLASS: eBay Motors (item 390162717782 end time Jun-25-10 15:40:29 PDT)
Chrysler Crossfire 04-08 Driver Side Mirror Glass 05 06: eBay Motors (item 230474481499 end time Jun-12-10 11:21:45 PDT)
Anyone know if either of these are any good? Sure beats Chrysler Parts Direct's prices ($54.60).

AHAHAHAHHAAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I WIN!!!!
Sorry. Well, update, if anyone cares- Locktite plastic bonder works wonders. Fixed the motor, fixed the motor housing and the apparatus that goes around it, fixed the broken screw attachment in the mirror housing, all with the bonder. Now I'm just waiting on my new mirror glass I got for $20.58. Total cost to fix? $25. What it was gonna cost? $500 for parts, plus time waiting for the parts to come in, plus labor.
WIN.
