Agreed, getting in and out is easy enough when you are young and limber (depending on your size) but gain a few years and get your ankle fused and "homey don't bend like that." That is why I have the vertical doors. No more kicking the speakers and I can pivot my legs out. And I also get the benefit of wider parking places (less chance of a ding) with that little blue mirror hanger.

There is absolutley no reason you need to justify your verticals; they look absolutely fabulous w/ your black & tan 6. And, oh boy, can my wife and I relate to the "homey don't bend like that". At 53 (both of us)and again, both of us, (together!) over the alloted weight for our vehicle; we have no business owning this little coupe. But, we sure love the heck out of it, like no other car we've had. This last post of yours has made me realize that I too should have the blue mirror hangers. I'm qualified for these but have resisted for many years getting them; but knowing that it will help protect the 6 from dings, I'm all over it now! Dina loves the look of your verticals, but says no. Damn! .... I'm sneaking in the minor performance mods but I think she'd notice the vert.'s. On edit: Wanted everyone to know, with the 3 seperate operations on my knees, and full knee replacement in the near future; it really is difficult for me to walk. But i'd sure feel terrible if someone w/ a wheelchair had to park somewhere else.

I get really mad when some lazy person can't walk 5 extra feet and have to park in a handicapped spot. It's really bad if it's raining.
NO keep your crossfire brother, and thank you for your service.

I am on social security disability, I can walk ok, so I do not have, nor do I take up a disabled parking spot, parking my crossfire a mile from entrance to the store.

Thank you Big AL and it's wonderful that you are still able to get around. Next time you go, catch one for me <'\\\><

DinaSRT You might try telling her that the doors were always like that. It doesn't work for me alot but maybe worth a shot!

What is wrong with that first petal on the right. I read on here that it was an OMG petal but does it also have a magnet underneath it to make it want to go fast all the time?
