I think it looks pretty good with the silver strakes and door handles.

From what I read about the history of the pink Crossfire, the owner's husband owned ( or worked at) a paint shop. They basically removed everything in the engine bay and elsewhere in the door sills and rear hatch to completely remove any evidence of the previous color.

The bottom line is, to repaint a car properly is usually cost prohibitive for most people. Of course, there will be naysayers out there that will disagree.

for now i'll leave it black, but if it ever got vandalized or damaged to where the whole car needed to be repainted, i'd repaint it midnight purple pearl

the funny part is my insurance company doesnt care what I do, they pay me for everything. When my drag car had an accident with a tow truck, they forked over 5k to me.

your quite right it belongs the wife of matt peel who owns a body shop in bristol uk, he did some work on my PT when someone ran into the back, matt is also the importer for pteazer stuff into the uk, i would love a white crossfire but they were never sold in that colour in UK and as said if your going to do it properly it would cost way too much..

Wow, you show your youth in that statement, wait till the insurance man catches up to you, always happens sooner or later.

Then that porsche, 350z, vette whatever you want to buy, you will not be able to insure

The thing about painting a car a different color is it has to be stripped completely or you see the old color in all kinds of places and it looks like crap It's not worth the effort.
