I was ribbin you, the pictures were of my car. I actually felt that way about them before I drove one. I still can't find it in me to own a roadster unless it's black, and an SRT-6. I bought mine cause it was the SSB with the cedar Slate interior, like the concept car. Otherwise I woulda held out for another color. Besides, it was cheap and local.

I'm just josh'n with ya, b/c you don't have a factory grill and pictures make that grill look look empty. Note I said pictures, in real life that grill looks good.

On the same note, 2 years ago I parked my car as far away from a Sears Hardware store as I could, where nobody else was parked. When I came out of the store, I see a beat up old Ford pick-up parked one space away from my car, and a scruffy looking guy sittin on the rear step bumper smoking a cigarette.
When I get to my car, the guy says, "Do you want to buy another one of those cars? I said I wished I could, but I couldn't afford another one at the moment.
He said, Well I know a lady who has a red one she never drives, and she wants to get rid of it. It looks a lot better than yours, it looks more like a "James Bond" car.
Now I agree, I don't remember ever seeing Jimmy driving a white sports car in any of his movies, but he was a passenger in a cool white Toyota 2000 GT Roadster once. But the only red car I remember him driving was a "borrowed" 1974 Hornet Hatchback X. Usually Bond only drives those "girlie" colored, silver, silver/blue, or grey colored cars.
Anyway, I told the guy I hoped she gets a good price, and thanked him for the compliment and got in my car and drove off.

 

I could have sworn 007 drove a white Lotus Espirit in one movie. Wasn't that the one that went under water, like a sub? Then later was blown up when someone "tampered" with it?

 

Tom (as usual) You're 100% correct. Just another example of "brain fade" on my part. Someone here on the forum recently bought a Lotus, and I even commented about the "Bond" connection.
You're going to have a lot of opportunity to "bring me up to speed" in St. Louis.

Bond also has a maroon Lotus. His white one was the submarine but I think he got a maroon one in the next movie to replace it. I think the white one blew up early in the film (remember that fancy car alarm).
