So am I'm driving a girly car? I just want to make sure because if I am, this is one m*th*rf*ck*ng mean *ss girly car.

More funny than uncomfortable, but while stopped at a red light in our busy shopping center, a hot mom of 30'something crossed in front of my "graphite '05 coupe with what I think was her 10-12 yr old daughter.(they looked alike). Mom gave me a quik side glance with a smile, but the little girl waved and gave me a big thumbs up! Then mom gave me a second look and waved too!...So cool!

I've had older people in old shitty cars glare rudely at me when I'm getting gas, random chicks hitting on me, and been the victim of keys

but the glaring =/ so uncomfortable

it gets worse when I'm driving one of my parents cars though

(2002 S500 / 2010 Genesis)

I've had quite a few in the short time I've owned my Xfire. People seem to want to test me when driving it... I've had all sorts of people tail gating me and revving at lights. I'm a law abiding type of guy and never get wound up.

One time, though, I took the bait. It was a Peugeot 106. Now... for the American majority on here, little Peugeot's are like go-karts but not fast. I've owned one myself and they will out-handle most things on the road... including uber expensive sports cars; many buy them to rally race here in the UK. So he pulls up alongside and it being safe to do so, we go head to head - I just KNOW that the Xfire is faster; however, we stay side by side and at one point he edges me. I'm shocked. Next lights, we wind windows and he explains that he's done an engine transplant and in this tiny French car, made of tin foil; he's rocking just over 200BHP. That'll explain it... a real wolf in sheeps clothing; of which there are many around it seems.

I drive my heavily modded coupe and it gets fairly annoying how many people want to talk about it. At a car show is one thing, but when I am trying to get to work is another
Well thats your own damn fault for making it look so good!

No need to put up horse power graphs, we know your SRT is sick, but I was talking about auto NA ssb cars. This is what my parents have as their fun car (limited roadster bought new in 2005) and while I think it looks nice, I do think it is a little on the girly side (my father will not even drive it LOL)

Last summer, while waiting for my wife at a local bakery, in my black 05 coupe, the owner( girl in her 30's), came out and wanted to know if I was Aubry McClendon a Oklahoma oil billionaire who just bought 400 acres of pristine sand and dunes by Lake Michigan for $50 million. Sadly, I stated," no I am not".

I've received the "nice car, for a Chrysler" comment. Other than that it's been fairly positive, and considering I got that comment from a redneck getting in his ford truck I didn't let it bother me.

Yes, When a gentleman in his 50's asked me at a gas station, if the Crossfire was like the MASERATI TC. I am here to tell you I drove away with a sinking feeling in my stomache. Just think about it for a little

If someone said that to me, I would explain that the Maserati started out as a Chrysler and this car started out as a Mercedes. There's a huge difference between the two.

Yea I realize that ,,my father and sister in law each owned one. and at the time that was like the flagship for Chrysler. They had a vehicle associated with a car company in Italy...pretty special back in the eighties. The value of these cars dropped like rock on these red headed stepchildren from Chrysler

LOL...... Steve, you were not uncomfortable......... You were PISSED! But, it never fails when I go to the track. After I make the first pass, people seem to gravitate to the car to check it out. I have gotten so many wild comments while at the track.

Rush, I think making the jump from me saying my opinion is that it looks a little girly, to you saying pathetic is a stretch.

Here is my parents roadster (with my GF) when we went down to FL.

And here is my daily driver....

I was not trying to immasculate anyone here, just staing my opinion, politely. I thought that was the point of a car forum
