Should Fred be worried?

i have several odd events occur while i have been in my car, i have been filmed with a video camera while driving from OKC to dallas on I35, i have been yelled at from sidewalks asking what kind of car its is, and i was in my uncles office the other day and a gentleman came in to his office to tell me how much he adored my car( i live in a small town so people see it all the time) its amazing the reactions i have gotten while driving this car( the euro plate increases the hysteria) the fact that it is debadged and has mercedes stars in place of the chrysler emblems probably helps fuel the fire lol, anyways i love it. JR maybe from a distance it could pass as an SLS AMG :P

I know what you mean since I've put the car back on the road with all the new mods I had a couple intheir 70's yelling at me what it was and who made it , then other day had this women leaning out her window yelling ( hey mister can I have a ride my husband won't mind) and he was looking really pissed next to her.

Uncomfortable? Excuse me but you want uncomfortable?

Once, right after a wine tour Cathy and I were sitting in the car and both simultaneously thought about the difficulty in having sex in a Crossfire.

It's rather rare that we think about having sex simultaneously anymore. But then, we realized that we could not actually take advantage of the concept.

THAT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE!

And you all knew that one was coming.
Now, I'll bet you were thinking about how weren't you? Weren't you?????

I have only had the car three weeks, but I have already had numerous comments. I had one guy tell me he wanted to make love to my car. I told him he could try, but the tail pipes were still hot.

I'm liking what I hear! We bought this car because we loved the styling. The fact that it had Mercedees guts was certainly not a drawback.
Bad neighborhoods (Concealed carry).

Alllllright, Franc - stop that - the visual is killing me !

Uncomfortable, huh? Hmmmm, the only uncomfortable situation I've been in with either car was last year.
I'm in the SRT, heading to work, when I got behind a silver Ford F150 poking along down the highway. Knowing that any passing opportunities wouldn't be occuring anytime soon I took advantage of the situation & passed him. He took umbrage at this & decided to get RIGHT on my *** as we're driving down a 2 lane. I zipped up to 75mph, no luck - he stuck like glue. OK, how about 80? Nope.
Eventually my "To He!! With It" nerve kicked in & I just floored it - up the hills, hoping there isn't some tractor dragging a manure wagon in front of me. As luck would have it no one was ahead of me for miles & I was doing 120 before I knew it. Silver truck guy disappeared in the rear view mirror & never attempted to catch up again. I made sure he stayed well behind me.

That was uncomfortable!

Now, ooooh's & ahhhh's don't make me uncomfortable - just proud !

That's funny. I've had the same thing happen. It's not so disturbing when the girls do it, but the boys are very disturbing. Even if you consider that you can get a low miles SRT-6 for around $15k, I think these kids are seriously overestimating their skill in the sack. LOL

Cool Re: Anyone experienced an uncomfortable situation in their cars?

Hi Alleuro, nope ,not just you. Here in Cape Town they are very rare,it takes me 10 -15 mins more to "pop" down to the shops ,after explaining to total strangers the whole history of the xf.I'm a poser so I love it! The best yet? "that must be the best looking Aston Martin I've ever seen!" hee hee! so I ran with it! But lets face it, they are handsome.I always feel like James Bond driving around. My wife says I'm having my midlife thing????????? Who me? NO WAY!

at the road course yesterday i had a dummy in a mini cooper s ask me if i liked my Toyota Solara. I told him it was great but the brakes kept going out on it for some reason. He was confused and concerned then he walked around and looked at the back of the car and I assume he was able to at least read because it appeared he figured it out from there.

I know my car

sig2name.jpg

looks exactly like one of these:

so i can see how he made the mistake. I should have asked him how he liked his ford f150 which is about as dumb as him asking me how i liked my solara.

He bragged about how his car drove like it was on rails but his rails must have been rusty because i was so far ahead of him on the track that i never seen him again lol. I had to as my gf if he broke down or something be cause he disappeared but she said he was about 3/4's of the track behind me the entire time. If he is there in a few weeks I will bring a can of WD-40 for his rails so he can go a little faster next time.

BTW MRPHOTOMAN,that must be the best looking xf I've ever seen! How anyone could mistake that for a Toyota,of any kind is beyond me. I wanted a black one, could only find a Graphite. But I will endeavor to make it look as good.Is that photoshop or "what polish are you using?" .I like. You must get comments all the time!!!!!!
