I guess that's the real question. Apparently the person who started this thread is in London and DID get luggage. But nobody else in the UK has?

If it were me, and the window sticker on my car bought in the UK listed "Touring Gear", I'd be raising a stink to get it. I believe it would be considered false advertising to put somthing on the window sticker here in the USA that you as the car manufacturer had no intention of providing, I'd think it'd be the same over there.

I've asked in other threads if the UK window sticker says "Touring Gear" on it and don't ever remember seeing an affirmative answer. If it DOES, sounds like you should all band together and write nice letters to D/C-UK demanding your luggage, and don't take no for an answer. The power of the pen... 8)

We dont have window stickers as such, listing the spec and options on the forecourt.

The brochure does mention it though !

As I recall, John Johnson had to make one hell of alot of fuss to get his luggage.

That is what this thread is all about. Trying to get DCUK to give us the same as North America.

They are showing luggage on uk website and uk edition on chrysler freedom mag which according to auto express could be considered faluse advertising.

All (uk folk) should send a fax that has been typed by soldus (just pm your e-mail and he will send it to you) all you need to do is change your reggy number and contact details.

The only way we have a chance of this perk is to fight. United we stand divided we fall.

Just PM me your mail addresses and I'll send the fax over. The more people in the UK we get to do this the more pressure we can put on them.

READ THIS: I have just opened my post as I've been away for a few days. I had a letter from DCUK responding to my fax. I have scanned it in for your information. Take a look here:

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...hp?pic_id=1606

Now, this letter basically confirms that they did advertise the luggage as complimentary in a UK magazine. They made a mistake, however this is not our / the consumers fault. This is definately a case for trade descriptions act. They have admitted to advertising it but still say they can't offer it. Lets take this further. Rob, can you pass this on to Auto Express?

Saldous:
I am really pleased to have read your reply from the SENIOR CUSTOMERS SERVICES ADVISOR.
What chance have we of getting luggage when she is looking for luggage for the wrong car.It looks like we will have to take our cars back to the dealers to correctly spell CROSSFIRE the Chrysler way :CORSSFIRE and also tell our insurers that our car model has now changed.
You must fax back to her to to see which model the luggage comes with as a quick letter change could solve the dispute.
If this woman is the Senior Advisor then I'm affraid Chrysler is doomed and our luggage has probably been incinerated as the spelling on the label was not as advised.

P.S
In my PM to you I think I discribed this woman to a T.

OK guys and gals. I now have my own copy of the Freedom Chrysler & Jeep Magazine. I have scaned in page 24 which you can see below. This clearly states (under the top right image) that the luggage is complimentary and does not say anything like, only in the USA etc.. On the front of the magaizine the pricing is in UK pounds . I will be responding back to Chrysler on this. Also, the Chrysler UK site still shows luggage more than a month after I complained to them!
