I tried this once....got a nice drift going with the T/C off, but it kicks on after you spin more 30 mph, over-rides, and I went straight for the ditch, so I quickly cranked her all the way around and kept on going....I never tried that again....T/C can save you, but it is no fun when you want to play

 

Muscle, that was just a "legal" disclaimer for my protection.
We're all adults here, and can make our own decisions. I just don't want somebody doing what I said I did, then wind up getting hurt, and blaming me that's all.
For ME disconnecting the traction control made my car do what I want it to do, when I want it to do it, and I'm completely comfortable with that.
Sometimes I feel like I've owned a Crossfire for 40 years (because of the way these cars drive, handle, and perform). It's just something I'm very familar with thanks to another car I've had the pleasure of owning forever.
