Default Spring is in the air ...

Snow is gone, the robins have returned, and it's starting to warm up outside.

Gettin' closer to the time to pull the XF out of winter storage. There is something to live for!

Still need a heavy rain storm to clean off the streets, and the potholes repaired.

I don't know who I'm more sorry for- The people who can store their XFire over the winter, or the people that have to drive all year round. Both have their advantages/disadvantages. A nice clean XFire come Spring, or driving all Winter long with the salt.

Don't feel sorry for me. Sure I put the Crossfire away all winter. That just means I get to run the JEEP for a few months. Between the C/F and the Harley the poor old Jeep doesn't get much action in the summer.

I was more thinking time to pull the snow tires off the ole SRT and put teh summers back on...or time to fit the DRs up to the rear wheels and hit the track.

Definitely getting close to spring...still a little chilly at night, but I can deal.

I drive mine year round, and it stays clean. Wash it every week. Now that summers here, she will probably get a good claybar and some time with my friend Mr. Porter Cable.

It is supposed to push 70 today. It's nice that it is getting nice but I won't be fooled. My all seasons will stay on for at least another month. Scooter could use a good wax. I do use hand car washes in the winter. In the summer the hand that washes it are mine.

I drove mine all winter! Why torture yourself with the wait when it's this much fun to drive?!

"I drove mine all winter!"

In MN, no less! With what tires/wheels? Need at least an alignment now due to potholes?

Was 65 here in west Michigan yesterday, took my black beauty out once more, washed the garage dust off, waxed and detailed, took her for a 50 mile spin, avoiding all the jerks who try to race me, and back in the garage until the next warm sunny Michigan day.

I drive mine year round (weather permitting). We have had a few nice days over the past 10 days or so and I did manage to get some top-down driving in. We are expecting a foot of snow tomorrow (and the XF will not be out!). Jeep day it will be.

Spring in Colorado is usually the snowiest time of the year unfortunately. Another five to six weeks of potential snow can be expected.

Did the full deal on mine yesterday, claybar and all, since it was almost 70 degrees. When the XF is offially detailed, thats when I know summer is a'comin.

I hope that you are fairing well. We got about 6" or so in the grassy areas. The streets are all melted now.

An alignment probably wouldn't hurt but I'll wait til MnDOT gets around to patching all the potholes first.

I took "Stella" out for a spin this morning and finally had a chance to push her a bit without any snow on the ground for the first time since I bought her. What a blast! She handled like she was on rails!

Don't worry, spring comes to Kansas a lot sooner than it does in Colorado. What part of KS? I have family in Topeka and Lansing.
