Looks to me that the Dealer may not know as much as they think about these cars.
This one is listed as having a 6 Spd Automatic and being Sapphire Silver Blue. [is it just the photo?]

As far as what has been done to the car- Each to their own.

Not my cup of tea, but there's nothing done to that car that can't be easily (very easily) fixed. Collect up the tires/wheels you wanted, source a stock grille and you could have that car back to "normal" in 30 minutes, including pulling the film off the lights.
