I agree. I would loveto hand thekeys to this car over to your family so they can pick you up in it when you come home.

Keep your head down, your spirit up, and your powder dry.

OK I fixed it. No more excuses.

SEND YOUR MONEY!

ONLY TWO WEEKS TO GO AND WE ARE STILL SHORT ON THE RAFFLE.

I don't care about the car, I'll sell the car. I care about the benefit to the kids.

You all should care about the car. It needs a loving home. Don't make me sell it to some teenager who will beat the crap out of it, rattle can the wheels, and cover it with flame decals and stick ons.

Sadly, no. We haven't even sold 100 tickets yet.
We first worried that they would move so fast that not everyone would get a chance. So we set it up in a way that made sure all active members on the Forum could get theirs.

We have been underwhelmed by the response.

So now we are selling as many tickets as you want to anybody who wants one. And if a teenager gets this thing, or somebody no one here knows, You have no reason to complain.

To 11bjohny's point, I believe he is technically a teen. But that young man is standing on the wall for you and me. I, for one, hope he wins it.

But his chances are nil unless we sell at least 200 of these tickets. So buy some more. Double your odds. Hell, triple them.

It serves two possibly three purposes.

1) The St Louis Children's Hospital gets a donation.
2) Some servicman or woman possibly gets a hot SRT to come home to.
3) It adds a new member to the family or ....puts this hot baby in your garage.

At the risk of sounding like a college student,,,,,,,Send money.

Franc, here in the Indy area, the news, the radio hosts will all promote a raffle like this on the air since it is for charity...I would do the same if possible...it is too late for the trader papers....and magazines...but not for the "on air" ...thing....hope you sell 200....I wouldn't fault a soldier winning this thing...but, I have been cleaning for months now so fit her in the garage....lol....

We are going to the local broadcasters for some airtime.
My luck so far has not been fruitful but we shouldget somethin from a station or two.
We didn't do the"trade Mags" because we wanted it more closely local tothe Crossie group.

Big Mistake in retrospect I guess. Though the best of intentions.

Still, I think we can pull this off. Harrahs has given us some encouragment on selling tickets at the Casino. Once people see this car, Member or not, they will want it. This puppy is gorgeous.

Had I known how hard selling these tickets would be, and how much time andmoney I would tie up in the program, I would have bought the thing to put away for later, and not said a word to anybody. It is that nice.

Why not change the date of the drawing to allow more time to put it in the trade mags, or is it a legal thing that you have to do it on June 24th? Since I'm going to win it anyway I don't mind waiting another couple of months.

That may be an option if we don't meet the sales deadline. But such a decision will have to be made at the ery last minute.
I have a better idea.
BUY MORE TICKETS.
