30% chance of rain and highs in the mid 40s, sounds like the last time Doc and I got rained out.

I will keep watching the weather, and this thread....

I never did practice runs with her on the streets. Normally, whenever i pick up a new toy, first thing i do is to go and play for a bit to figure her out. But with this one, I have been playing the granpa... Maybe i should practice on launching her before i head to track on sunday... I have always ran better times than the advertised times so i hope i will do the same on sunday.

What kind of times do you think i will run with this little fella?

I believe Gary was running high 14s last time he ran his NA. But he is an auto (I believe that was with a NW single and no tune). My baby does not run the 1/4, she is being built for the twisties

Personnally I do not think the NA is a drag car, but to each his own, I still like watching them run.

I think Gary mentioned that he ran 14.7s without a tune but not sure if it was stock or with intake, etc. I don't know what kind of mods he has.

N/As are definitely not drag cars, I agree. I just want a slip, see what she can do with me driving it.

I ran 22 times on the track

11 times with the OEM intake all ...best run time was 15.23

then

11 times with my Needswings intake....best run was 14.78

Needswings Cold Air Intake

I have not run since the Eurocharged tune but I now have 18 more HP to the wheels.

The only other mod I have is a Sprint Booster which is said to provide no gains in racing.

Before >>> ....after the tune >>>>

Gary and I are used to going to US41 when Eurocharged rents the ENTIRE place for closed test and tunes (mostly Bimmers, Benzos, and Crossys). On those days I believe the cost was more like $100 per person, hence the reason for the inquiry....

Oh i see! wow 100 bucks? Well, i hate to say it and i would LOVE to have a whole track with nothing but crossfires around but I don't see myself paying 100 bucks to race at a dragstrip. Especially US41 LOL. I think US41 should be around 5 bucks to race I guess on those events, i would be out.

I agree, and it is part of the reason I have not run. But everyone out there is very cool, the Eurocharged guys do not mind if you come out and just hang out and do some ride alongs (closed track so its allowed). Also, it is huge for the fast verts because they let them run. So when I go , it costs me gas there and back, and I get to check out/ride in some of the fastest luxury cars in the midwest, not a bad deal IMO

Looking forward to the first one of the year....

I guess i will be hanging out as well then. I am sure it is a blast event. US41 lets anybody run no matter what. Their tech is joke. I was running mid-low 11s without helmet and they didnt care, let alone the rollcage. I had friends running mid 11s in their verts without a rollcage as well. US41 is famous for approving pretty much any car at the tech. Now at Byron, i ran a 13.4 in my old 06 GT, i got booted because i did not have a helmet.
