Well last night I left my car out on the driveway, its usually in the garage. When I got in it this morning the radio wouldn't work, the cd player still worked, but the radio is out. Its the stock Infinity system. It got to about 25 degrees here last night if that has something to do with it. Has this happened to anyone else? Please help with this!

I had this happen in my SRT6. When it was cold outside, the radio and the cd player would not even turn on( until it felt the car was warm enough). Took it in for warranty and they traded it out for a new one. Now this new one makes this ticking noise every other day for about 5 seconds when you turn the car on. I am out of warranty so I just deal with it!

Oh…I saw one of those mirror switches the other day on ebay. It was listed under a SLK32 part I think. I would think it would be a direct replacement….looked like it would be anyway.

LOL...oh well. I have been around so long I get the FNG's mixed up. At least I did not bite his head off with the "use the search button" response!

Also BLKFIN thanks for the response. Mine is not under warranty anymore. I may just buy a new head unit that supports mp3 files, and one with an Iphone/Ipod adapter.

 

I thought you had replaced your head unit. Or did you put the OEM back in?

 

I had...the stock one is back in. I had forgotten about the noise, until I reinstalled it.
