Name the three most common things said to you about your car
Hello,
I would be interested to know if some of the thing people say to the members are the same things people say to me too.
Here are my three:
1. What kind of car is that? It's beautiful (awesome, elegant or hot).
2. If you don't mind me asking "how much" ?
3. It looks like it costs alot more than that.Maybe twice as much.
Don't feel the need to stop at three if you have more.

Hmm, my most common are basically the same as yours... here are some of my most common and strangest:
1)Is that the new Bentely? (he thought the winged logo was for a benteley)
2)This thing is half the size it looks like in pictures.
3)I would get one but they are too expensive (they're only 33k) Really?

a bit different
To be honest, don't get a lot of reaction to the car around here. I don't really focus, on the highway, who is checking out the car, I pretty much focus on enjoying driving the thing. Get the occasional honk and thumbs up, maybe once every other week or so. Otherwise I don't notice the attention on the highway.
Don't take it out to run errands much, it's pretty much just used for weekend backroad blasts, so don't have a lot of parking lot encounters. But, that said, from co workers and the occasional comment at the gas station, the thing I hear the most is:
1. That's CUTE! (Nearly every woman who's seen it has said that, it makes me cringe, and when they see me cringing they come up with # 2):
2. I mean, it's DARLING! (That usually ends the conversation).
And of course,
3. What's that???? Followed 70% of the time with:
4. It looks like the new Porsche. (To which I'm thinking, WHAT new Porsche?).

Lets face it....the Crossfire is in a class of it's own. Nothing comes close to it's beautiful sexy designe. The complexity of the exterior designe alone is worth the 35 grand. With the MB drivetrain, etc., the car is easly worth every bit of $60,000.00. I looked long and hard at other sporty cars before I purchased the Crossfire. It truly out-shines everything out there except the $230,000.00 Austin Martin. But I would rather buy the Crossfire and spend the remaining $200,000.00 on other things, like another Crossfire, a two-tone Rolex watch, a Honda Pilot, Walther PPK pistol, Lalique crystal, a jet ski, etc......all of which I already own!.....Life is good!
Re: Name the three most common things said to you about your car
--First of all I never understand why girls call my car cute. Its a horrible misconception and a disgrace! haha
--Second, I get thumbs up from all sorts of cars from exotics (Ferrari Spyder) to classics (restored Buick Lucerne). Basically any guywho is into their cars loves the Crossfire (don't meaned to be biased but I have only met one woman really into her car).
--And third, being in college I often get asked by more than one person for rides so... "Can I hop in your trunk"... I always give a resounding "no" to that one!
P.S. Older gentleman always come up at the gas station asking about it and I always tell them to go get one! Then I get the... "I'm too old, thats a young man's car!" I tell them "Drive one and you'll never say that again!"
