Just curious if anyone has pics of a painted xfire with a different color roof.
I saw a grey mercedes with a black roof the other day and it looked pretty sweet. I have a black xfire and was just curious what it would look like with a silver roof, or grey.
Not necessarily saying I love the idea on our cars, but just curious if anyone out there has pics of one like that.

Oops I must have hosted thoes pics somewhere else. I painted my roof black a couple years ago. I'll try to get some good pics.
To me the most important part of painting the roof black is to sand and polish it to a mirror finish. This will complete the illusion and make the roof look panoramic.

Beaner,
If only there was some silver molding to make a border between the colors and match the winshield molding. What a great job following the curve of the back window. Maybe some kind of fade or checker pattern to blend the colors. Looks good but I think it doesn't look finished without some kind of border, molding, etc. Love your wheels as well!!
