You should have had your brochure through, this has a price list with it detailing the additional cost of 400.00 for metallic.

Dont know an exact date until next week, but, it will be between the last week in November and 2nd week in December. This is from a pretty reliable dealer who have had a demo for 1 week now.

Just had a call from my Chrysler/Merc dealer and have been told to come down and take a test drive. Also that my Crossfire is in the country and will be delivered within 7 to 10 days. :-)

I rushed down to the dealer today to get a test drive but when I told them I was 24 they wouldn't let me test drive it. :-( So I'll have to wait until I can drive my own next week.

They won't let you test drive it even though you have one on order :?: That just "sucks" - I would be furious if I was you. Too bad it is too late to change dealers. Guess it is easier in the US where there is more competition and they have Crossfires sitting on their lots for months. Good luck to you and can hardly wait to see how much you love it once you get it.

Their insurance only allows them to have over 25's driving more powerful cars. I'm not to bothered just makes me look more forward to next week.

Let us know if you, Brits, can see the radio display in the daylight - a picture of the radio turned on would be great.

Congratulations and thank you for your Rugby match against the hcnerF - spelled backwards, I can not even type it

Just wondering who you're insured through as the 2 quotes I have had are underwritten by Norich Union and both times informed no-one under 25 to be added to policy.

I got a quote with DirectLine last month and was told that it would be an extra 100 on the current insurance to cover me until next February when my insurance run out. I could be looking at around 900 for a year. I just hope I didn't get any of this wrong. I was asked about my age and when I said I was going to be 25 in January it seemed ok.

MARK_uk
If they try going back on their word, as long as you can remember the date of the phone call you had it should have been recorded.Did you get a written quotation?
I had a similar incident earlier this year trying to get convictions off my policy, when I reported that I had asked during the initial call they checked their recordings and agreed without argument,,,,,they then put in the wrong registration number, then put manual instead of auto, then charged me a tenner more because it was auto--which meant my insurance could have been void all along!

Just had a written quote off chrysler ,manual instead of auto, wrong name of named driver, even though I spelt it! do they do this on purpose?
Good getout clause for the insurers.

Hope your luck holds out or you may be waiting til your Birthday.
