Default The Newest of "bies"

Hi All~
I took possession of my '05 coupe about a month ago and have been voraciously reading all that I can on this forum.
I'm the "newest of bies" since the Xfire is my first sports car and my first manual transmission vehicle and I know nothing about cars except that I love this one!
Just wanted to say hello and invite any suggestions or advice of any kind you might have for someone so green!
Feel free to do "Xfires for Dummies" stuff (like make sure you use at least 91 octane, etc..)

Thanks!

Thanks, FP.
I'll start the "dummies" thing going; I've noticed a lot of you guys have a number for your car, like '04 coupe #3445 or some such - what's that all about?

Welcome to THE Crossfire forum, we have members around your neck of the woods, Welland, Grimsby and Hamilton. I am from Caledon and another is from Brampton, others from TO so you are not too far from a Crossfire owner.
Get to know the search feature as it seems most items have been covered to some extent and when you ask a question you will get a helpful answer.
Down load the shop manual that you can find at the top of the SRT section, its filed under SRT6 Documentation. Other info is there as well.

Thats the build number and found on the drivers door label. Its a part of the VIN number. See the Shop Manual for a full description of the VIN.
3445 would be the 3,445th Crossfire manufactured.
