Default i'm back !

Sorry i haven't replied, have been away for a few days.

Firstly, I get my info from DCUK because I work for a dealer, if your dealer has not informed you of the paint charge then they obviously have not checked their internal web site.

Secondly, no to steering wheels controls but yes it was RHD. The specs do appear to be the same as the US & European cars.

Thirdly, I can only wish about purchasing a X fire, so I guess I'll just have drive one as a demo time to time - ha ha ha.

Pricing has never been confirmed to the dealers, where some body said that the car was going to be 26000 never got it from DCUK, I can only assume that it was a dealer second guessing !.

By the way we have received our first brochures, small batch so you'll all have to prize them out of dealers.

We had the same letter, but the manufacturer also reserves the right to change the specification without prior notice to the dealer or the customer, so what we both have was instantly out of date.

As annoying as it is - it's a fact of life.

Lets face it, all the info I've seen has either come via hear say, road test or the forum & right or wrong DCUK are the only people to confirm what xfire will or won't come with & for how much.

Does anybody complain when they have to pay for metallic on a TT or a BMW, No - you might think it but the reality is it's a choice. The choice to either pay it or cancel, macjack hit the nail on the head in my opinion - driving this car on a daily basis will far outway the groans of having to wait a year with little info from Chrysler to keep you going.
