Illuminated sill plates
Illuminated sill plates
They are available at: www.leeauto.com/parts/crossfire.htm.
List is a rather hefty $449 (their price $389). Funny that the same sill covers for the SLK are $159.

Thought MB parts were more expensive than other cars.

OK, didn't get them as cheap as $159 but didn't get them as high as $389 either.
I can't exactly remember the price but it is in the $300 range. I don't have time to bring the car in for the install yet unfortunately, but I'll take pictures when all the items are in.
Many things I'm asked to show people in the Crossfire cannot be seen while the car is in motion and doors closed, so I'll get to show the sill plates.
And I have plans for the original sill plates.

Re: Illuminated sill plates
I paid $350 shipped for mine. It was worth it. It doesn't matter that you can't see it when your driving. Why even wash your car if your have that view. It gets even more looks from people when parked because they can see the lights far away and it draws attention. Look on eBay.
