Default Our CF traction control saved my life

Last week I was deliberately forced into another lane, almost into another car by a driver in an SUV on I-95 to DC. The average speed is 65mph -85mph.
He was in the slow (right) lane. My exit was coming up and I had to get in that lane.When I went to pass him he sped up and started to come into my lane, forcing me into a slower driving car in front of me. As I kept pushing on my horn he looked over and laughed. I realized he was going to continue until he hit me unless I moved. I had no choice but to miss my exit and go into the next lane.
I had to brake hard at high speed to avoid hitting the slow car in front. MY CF fish tailed wildly but controlled. Had it not been for the excellent CF traction control my CF would have flipped over. I know the traction control saved my life and other drivers. He took off going over 95 mph and disappeared before I could get his license. Road rage is very real. There are people who don't care about your life or other drivers. This guy must have no control in his life. In his f****d up mental stage he is out to show other drivers he can't be pushed around. Even if it means killing you.

I'm amazed at the number of people that don't give a crap while driving, I rode with my boss the other day, his driving was erractic to the point that I put on my seatbelt which I never do because I feel that it is my right to wear or not werar my seatbelt not the govt's choice. anyway he almost hit 5 or so cars in a 10 mile trip kind of reminded me of the drunk girl in 40 year old virgin.

and to the guy saying that he doesnt wear seatbelts ever... i hope you find a soft ditch somewhere away form anyone else that cares for there life and the lives of others...

Wow, perhaps someone is having some Forum rage? I would imagine that the whole point of traction control would be to save you from the poor choices that others or even yourself may have made. Regardless of whether any given situation could have been handled differently(better) does not change the fact that TC can be a very good thing. I know I have thrown down a good bit more power in to a corner than I would have felt comfortable doing if my TC was not engaged a time or two.

Glock is this where 95 dumps into 495? Very bad merge there, very bad. I've been cut off more times than I can count there trying to merge into 495. Just this afternoon I was sitting at a light, first in line and a guy coming the other way made an illegal U Turn in a govt truck and missed me by inches and he sat there laughing about it. People are nuts they just don't care.

I've probably posted this story before, but I think it's worth repeating;

Last fall/winter we had "black ice" (thin frozen fog), by about 9:30 in the morning the sun came out & burned it all off.....except UNDER an overpass....I was going about 80 mph curving on to I-70 & under that overpass I felt the "hand of God" save me....also known as the ESP on the Crossfire....

Doesn't the TC feature only control the rear wheels (brakes-throttle)? Isn't it the ESP that controls all 4 brakes to keep you going in the direction it thinks that you intended to go?

You Sir, are correct. Rear wheel spin initiates the TC, sensors initiate the ESP, switch of the ESP when you want to go drifting or it spoils the fun.

Or in Tampax as indicated above, this forum should be required reading for some grade one students they could run the spell check on each post and return them marked up. A win win situation.

If you have ESP you really should not have to ask, you should already know.
Why is it that most people who say they can see into the future are so poor? Knowing what they say they can see, they should realize that they are on the wrong track. They never have any market tips you could bank on.
