Not sure if it's a kill-but close enough
Not sure if it's a kill-but close enough
Had my first kill on Sunday. Coming back from the Minnesota GTG I found myself behind a 350Z. He slowed down in front of me and as I pulled out to pass on a long stretch of empty highway, what does he do but guns it as I get along side. Now I'm in the left lane, no oncoming so I put it down and shortly thereafter left him about 8-10 car lengths behind as we came up to a no pass zone. Pulled back in, kept it to about 80 close to the next town, passed a truck or two, so he got farther behind, where we got caught in traffic. At the next turn, I was second at the light to turn left, he came up along side to turn right, put the clutch in and gave me a burst as he slided by. I just laughed out loud. So a rolling 60 mph start might not classify as a kill, but in my NA it was close enough.
Oh, and BTW, running with 2 SRT's that day, I was amazed at how fast they accelerate. Good ones John and Dan!!!

Sounds to me like he was being courteous and safe by letting you back in at the end of the passing zone...
