Don't have opened alcohol in the car. Always works. Easy on the nerves. Easy on the license. Easy on the rest of the world.

Maybe examine why you need to carry a flask? Might be life changing.

I guess you could remove the tail light access panel and slip the flask into the cavity. Wrap it up in a towel so that it doesn't bounce around. Just a thought................?

I didnt read the whole list of post but if you get up under dash on the passenger side the floor pulls back and theres a decent amount of "out of sight" room

I DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE, but I travel quite frequently and sometimes have a small flask or bottle of booze with me. Being that I do not have a trunk, I would like somewhere to be able to stash a bottle of booze or a small flask so that in case I get pulled over, I will not get an open container violation. Has anyone found any sort of place ether slightly out of view or more hard core hidden completely?? Any info is appreciated, I do not want to get a ticket for having alcohol in my car, especially when traveling through states with different open container laws....

Thanks guys.

John

John if I remember correctly you have a base crossfire- You could store it in the passenger floor where the infinity amp is located in the limited/srt6.

Thanks for the advice, but I do not need to carry a flask, I WANT to carry one LOL

I am not some booze hound who can't go without hooch for 10 minutes, but when I am out on the road and done for the day, I enjoy a cocktail or two, nothing wrong with that, right?? Well I do not want a ticket for simply transporting alcohol and am trying to be responsible by keeping it out of the way.

Excellent idea, but I do not want to cut apart a custom box or try to add anything that will hinder the sound quality. Those boxes hold up to enourmous amounts of pressure and I do not want to modify it and make it less structurally sound. Maybe I will build something into the next fiberglass box I do...

I put fifth's of liquor in the trunk under the floor mat all the time.. perfect for storing.. too bad you have those subs! Unopened or opened, just for transporting and since i'm only 19.. it's illegal to have anyways.. just never know when there's a party at my age! I've been stopped as well and never searched..

I would remove the styrofoam under the passenger carpet and cut out a little section for your flask.. it'd be perfect...!

Nice advice Nox, I used to do the same thing a few short years ago when I was underage and had a different vehicle, like you said, "you never know when a party might start" just be careful, I made some mistakes when I was younger that I wish I could take back.

Now back to the thread, I knew some interesting suggestions would come out of this group, thanks again everyone

So your only nineteen and carry booze in your car. Lets just say I recognize the State of your parents car in your photo gallery and run their license plate number. Do you think I could figure out your address and put you on the list of cars to pull over?

Hint ....watch what you say on these sites.

I agree 100% with you one eighty, and it is a great thing to point out, but were you never youthful, inexperienced, and trying to have a good time with some friends?? If he gets pulled over, it is his problem and his parents will probably kick his *** like mine did, all part of growing up...

Not trying to start anything or say what he is doing is right or wrong, this is simply my opinion....

You have a 16 gallon hiding place right behind you.

Just make sure you remove all traces of gasoline first, otherwise it might taste funny.

You also may need to retune the engine for pure alcohol as more of it is required to maintain stoichiometric combustion.

You can also use a second fuel pump attached to a relay. The output of the fuel pump can be piped directly into the passenger compartment. You could also install a liquor tap into the dash but that may be too obvious.

You may also need to drive with a gentle foot, otherwise you'll feed the engine all the alcohol before you can hit the fuel pump button to get your own.

Alright I am bout to end this session of hidden compartments.......Ok since you use a flask.. I say modify your sub box. Take subs out and build a little cubbie box inside and insulate the inside so no rattle from bass. Get some of those push magnet strips(those push to open/close ones) and make sure the carpeting on box is as seamless as possible. Oh yeah when you arrive at the party just throw you alittle crushed ice in flask and pump up the volume...."Shake and not Stirred Baby!!!!

It will become increasingly difficult to drive your nice little Crossfire without a driver's license, regardless of where you once hid your booze.

While a very good idea, I am not about to mess with a slot ported box that is tuned to a certain frequency just so I can hide my hooch

I want a good place to hide, but would never alter anything major in the vehicle or do anything to sacrifice performance, safety, or reliability.

Parents car? It's MINE!

You probably could figure out my address. Policemen also can't pull me over either without a good reason. I don't do anything stupid to get pulled over, and always make sure I have no burnt out bulbs.

As for searching my car? Yeah right.. they have to have probable cause and I'll give them absolutely nothing probable.

I also don't carry liquor in my car 24/7, just sometimes.

BTW APKano.. you weren't supposed to see that!! lol.

If someone calls the cops and tells them that you have drugs in your car or knows a cop and says something to them, then yeah they'll pull you over. and that probable cause you're talkning about, if they ask to search your car and you say no then they just radio in to a judge and he'll approve a search warrant just based on the fact that you wouldn't allow them to search your car. then when they have a warrant it won't be a quick little glance over it'll be tear your car apart and bring out the grug dogs.
