Default Is there a spoiler BUTTON?? Or just auto deploy?

I'm thinking about getting a Crossfire this summer, (or maybe a 350Z) and I know the spoiler automatically deploys at 60mph, but is there a button in the cockpit you can also control it with? It would be awesome to deploy the spoiler in the parking lot to show my friends!

I figured if anybody knows you guys would lol.

Yes, the NA has the automatic wing, and also has a control button to manually operate the spoiler.

The spoiler deploys automatically at 65 mph, then retracts when you get back down to 39 mph. There is a buttton on the center consol to manually deploy it.

You know they put it there for pure show off factor.

And it's right next to the flux capacitor button for time travel.

Is that an option for the srt6? Does it cost much extra?

You can have one installed (or install it yourself), but I would imagine it would be well over $1k.

It's in the gas pedal on the SRT-6's. That's why they have a fixed wing...it happens so fast.

If that is what you want you should sell the Crossfire and just buy a Delorean, it is not worth the time an effort to modify these cars. No one has figured out how to get the Mr. Fusion and flux capacitor to work with the Crossfire electronics, so why even try. Get a Delorean even though it is not very unique.

Ugh. Now I have to decide between the ludicrous speed of the srt6 or the flux capacitor of the Delorean.

Why does life have to be full of such hard choices????

According to Chrysler;

"Powered by an electric motor, the rear spoiler deploys automatically when car speed rises above 90 km/h. Deployment takes less than five seconds and the spoiler generates 356 Newtons of downforce to the rear of Crossfire at 129 km/h. The spoiler can be deployed manually at lower speeds using a switch on the centre console. Raised edges to the sides and trailing edge of the spoiler enhance its performance and it works in conjunction with the lower venturi created by the diffusers around the dual exhausts."

You must memorize the stats in red, & recite them when the day comes that someone asks you what the purpose of the spoiler is......
