by a dealer ,,well you will wait for service, ,,if 10 dealers were servicing 25 cars a day, now 2 dealers will have to service the same cars, all 250 of them a day to equel the same service, they can't. so now any warranty work will take 30 days or more just to get,say a battery changed, never mind the oil changed. you better learn how to change your own oil yourself, and quickly,, jim

 

Our red Crossfire is comong up due for an oil change. Our dealer, a couple miles from the house, is being shut down. We have always trusted them and they gave us great service. Now I'm scared some angry mechanic (because he's loosing his job) will put the wrong oil in out of spite. I will start changing the oil myself now.

 

I thought only 25% of the dealers were being closed. They have been pretty slow lately so I cannot imagine the picture you paint being so grim.
