Re: NEED TIRES ASAP!!! What's the best buy for AS tires?!?!?!
CHECK OUT THE MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S PLUS TIRES THEY ARE 40,000 MILES ALL SEASON. THEY HAVE BETTER RATINGS THAN EVERYONE ELSE ON WET, SNOW, ICE. THEY ARE A LITTLE PRICEY BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.I LIKE THE 40,000 MILEGE RATING PERSONALLY
Re: NEED TIRES ASAP!!! What's the best buy for AS tires?!?!?!
I just got a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus put on last week. $1165.00 out the door at Tire Discounters with a free alignment included. Kind of pricy, but they were rated very well. There's a $60.00 mail in rebate on them now. So far I am happy with them, they are very good in the rain and don't follow every wear groove in the pavement like the Continentals did.

Here is what TireRack has listed for the 04 Crossfire. Any way you look at it, it is gonna be a bit pricy considering the sizes of the tires. 18's and 19's aren't all that cheap.
Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season
Fronts: $141 each
Rears: $240 each
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
Fronts: $201 each
Rears: $269 each
Yokohama ADVAN S.4.
Fronts: $192 each
Rears: $261 each
And if you just want all season touring tires here is your choice.
Continental ContiTouringContact CW95
Fronts: $165 each
Rears: $253 each
Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season
Fronts: $141 each

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus

Yokohama ADVAN S.4.

Re: NEED TIRES ASAP!!! What's the best buy for AS tires?!?!?!
Forgive me for asking, but why "all seasons"?
Last time my Chrysler 300 needed to be towed out of a ditch for spinning on the ice, it was because of all seasons. They are a compromise and don't give you the best experience in any situation. I drive the nice, quiet, soft performance treads in the summer and them change to 17" rims with Blizak tires for the winter. No complaints.
Found the winter tires on Craigs list, bought the rims and tires from a guy in the next town who sold his MB, got them all for $750. The deals are out there, if you are resourceful.

Re: NEED TIRES ASAP!!! What's the best buy for AS tires?!?!?!
I'm voting for the Michelin Pilot Sports A/S. I am waiting for 4 of them to come in later this week. Replacing my GoodYear F1s. While there are conflicting feedback, I have always had good personal experience with the Michelins. Pricier, but good ratings, especially in the A/S category.
You might also want to consider using the opportunity to get fatter tires (there is another forum thread on max tire size on OEM wheels if you are interested), but sticking to factory specs is not a bad thing either IMHO.

I went with the Yokohama S.Drive. Tire Rack has them at a good price, plus when you buy 4 you get a redemption card for a free Griot's Garage car care kit that retails for almost $80. mine were about $755 shipped, but I also went with 275/35/19's for the rear instead of 255's.
