About $120 here. Do a search and you'll see it has been dsicussed many times.

Did you do it yourself or go someplace? Doing it yourself will probably shave you a lot of money.

I paid $170 a couple weeks ago and did the labor myself. I guess it could be 10 quarts(wanted some extra) of Royal Purple XPR and M-B OEM filter.

Mine was in line with your $113. The real surprise was the OEM Oil filter; I think it was around $30 of the total. I'm only driving in the summer and I'm only dealing with one change per season.
If your in the xfire every day, I'd consider changing it yourself.

I paid $119.99 just after I got the car.
I did this so the dealer could check out to see if anything needed
to be done to the car.
I change my own oil, & Advanced had a sale on Mobil 1
5qt for $30.00 & a filter, I got filters for my Avalanche.
I now wish I had got more then 10qt.

FP has a point BUT since I just changed my oil last night...

9 quarts Mobil 1 0w-40 -- $6.29 * 9 = $56.61
(Wal-Mart, Wal-mart sells 0w-40 cheaper than anyone else, Advanced Auto Parts, Pep Boys, and Autozone all sell this oil for $7.99)

1 FRAM Oil Filter (paper) -- $11.49 * 1 = $11.49
(Wal-mart, this filter is $24.99 at Advanced Auto Parts)

1 Oil Pan Drain Plug -- $7.09 * 1 = $7.09
(Advanced Auto Parts - I would not recommend you switch oil drain plugs because this aftermarket one used a rubber washer instead of a metal one which actually allowed for a slow leak. Luckily I detected it and switched back to the old plug. WHAT A HASSLE. Had to drain all the oil and re-fill it after switiching plugs. I am pretty peeved at Advanced Auto Parts for stocking a crap product)

Less one Oil Drain Plug ($7.09)

For a grand total of $68.10! (tax not included)

Its really amazing how much smoother the engine runs in general as well as how much more quiet the engine is at idle after you put in new oil.

I paid around $45 for a TopSider to siphon the old oil out through the dipstick tube, $60 for a pack of 6 Mann Fleece Filters on ebay, and roughly $6/quart for Mobil1 0W40 at Wal-Mart each time. So about $65 in parts/fluids per oil change plus the amortized cost of the TopSider.

Hey, we bought cars that take a little over 8 quarts of synthetic oil. It is what it is.

I just bought 2 of the K&N HP-7004 filters from the K&N online store with tax and shipping for $14.00 cheaper than the local auto store. That's enough savings to buy 2 Qts. of the Mobil 1 at that same store.
