Default Goodbye crossfire :(

Well guys.. the time has come.

I just traded in my 06 crossfire (got 14.5k for it too! 36k miles, originally bought for 20k in 07) and bought myself a Lancer GTS.

Being a full time student, and a full time worker (and full time partier), I need a vehicle that could get me through the winter without much problems. The Crossfire, much to my dismay, was absolute hell this past winter. Upkeep was rather pricey as well, when that money could have been better spent on education supplies (I had to surrender a laptop to get tires).

Anyway, I wanted to thank all of you for all the excellent information that is compiled on this forum. You guys made owning a Crossfire much more enjoyable.

I wish all of you the best of luck with your cars!

Hey if I could have owned a crossfire when I was 21 I would have been a happy camper! You have had a fun ride no matter which way you look at it.

LOL on your comments about being a full time partier! I bet your drinking bills probably could have paid for your xfire alone! LOL!!

All the best in school and enjoy the Lancer!

Nate

Enjoy the lancer, and keep us posted as to how it compares to the XF.

Also, any of your parts for sale? I figured with a trade, maybe you pulled some things off and put them back to stock.....

Good luck with everything. Just because you got rid of the crossfire doesn't mean you aren't still part of the forum. Don't be a stranger.

I traded it in with the exhaust (it was starting to leak a little bit) and the eibachs since it wasn't really worth the effort for me to pull them off.

I have STOCK springs and exhaust that I'd let go dirt cheap if anyone had a use/need for them.. they're wasting away in the garage as we speak. I also have a luggage set I'd be happy to get rid of cheap.

but yea, I won't be a stranger - I mostly lurk around these forums but I will always enjoy seeing what you guys do to your crossfires.

seriously, 300hp in NA. C'mon. someone do it.
