I love the color! What year is the car?

I noticed a nice blue VW mkV R32 in the background of one of your photos, do you also own that?

My car is from 2004.

I didn't know that the VW MKV R32 was exported in the usa.

Unfortunately it's not mine, the car is coming from germany like mine, it's an import.

The guy has a lot a Collector convetible NewBeetle too.

MDSRT6 : Effectively my town is really nice, it's very cute.

Here you can see a picture of where i am living.

I have been in the usa last summer. I rented a Pontiac G5 Coupé and travelled between LA, Vegas, San Fransisco, ... that was really nice. A lots of miles but such beautiful landscapes and cities.

Yeah, the mkV R32 did make it to the US, but only 5000 copies and only with the DSG. The whole DSG thing was a complete mood killer for me. I'm jealous of the european owners who at least had the option of a real manual and could also get those excellent sport seats!

You live in a very beautiful area!

Does many people choose manual car in the usa ?

Here it's around 90/95%.

I think that it's really more fun to drive with manual gears but that's my personnal view.

I agree with you! But I think the majority of Americans may disagree with both of us! Unfortunately, it seems like the european manufacturers (specifically VW and Audi) are taking away the option of manual transmission cars for the US population. Other brands that we still offer a manual in the appropriate models. I think about 20% of people in the US drive a manual transmission.

Salut Bertrant,

I´m Jerome and I come from Germany, Merzig, near the French(5km) and Luxembourg Boarder(20km). There is a XF meeting next week, I will ask some of the guys for the White Sidemarker. There is a special lady from Collogne, she sell some parts for the XF (sidemarker too). If you want buy some , i could bring it to Strassburg, maybe.

Bye Jerome

Yes, I will ask for the backsidemarkers. The german XF-driver are love the red sidemarkers with light. Usually it´s forbidden to use this Sidemarkers in Germany, but it doesn´t matter . Have a nice weekend. I will give you a mail, if I have more information.

Hello there and welcome I believe you had asked some questions about getting lights here is a shop out of Germany http://www.ctd-germany.com/shop/Chry...ire:::283.html called CTD they have some of the startech items and clear markers and reds for the rear. Exhaust I would probably order from the US as it is cheaper Borla is a good choice. Any other questions feel free to ask. http://www.needswings.com/Default.aspx and http://www.tvtdesign.com/ are two shops some of use for performance items. Enjoy!

I like the http://www.ctd-germany.com/shop/Chry...sor::1521.html I think it would go nice with your Startech rear spoiler. You asked about a front spoiler, you can buy a SRT-6 front spoiler it would give the car a lower look from the front.
