Default CAR magazine UK

The current edition of CAR magazine (UK) lists the Crossfire as the 24th most desirable car out of their top 100, thats way above the Z4 or Nissan 350.
They say its "this years must have car" couldn't agree more just have to wait till October / November.......oh the agony.

Are there any cars on the list higher than the Crossfire that are more inexpensive?

Wow,
I love the mini, but no way I would choose it over a Crossfire. I guess it's a little bit different in the UK.

maybe but with performance of the S and at 10,000 pounds less than the crossfire its difficult to argue, the crossfire makes its make by being unique unlike the very common TT of which there are 8 in my street. Come november there will only be 1 crossfire!

Got to go check out the magazine, could you list highlights of the 23 that beat the Crossfire apart from the Cooper S?

Aston Martin Vanquish perhaps

Ok...can't resist.....10,000 pounds less?I would figure the CX at roughly 3000 lbs.....so that would make the Mini come in at -7000 lbs????......what keeps it from floating away????

Ford Focus huh? I guess the rally reputation it has over on the other side of the pond helps it plenty.

The Focus RS is the top of the range

2.0 litre Turbo
215bhp
5500rpm
0-60 in 6.4secs
144mph top speed

This is a rally car for the road but some of it is tacky and it is a Ford.

Does the states have this model yet?

I notice the Jaguar XJ6 is on there... does jaguar still produce an XJ6 in Europe? They only produce an XJ8 in the US...

Well, technically Rover is BMW and Jaguar is Ford

I drove a Ford once when I was in London and I must say, they tune those Fords quite differently over there, this one was holding its own on the M1.

Especially when I was trying to figure out if the 80 on the road signs meant MPH or KM/H. I gave up and followed the fastest car on the road, that Ford surprised me.
