Default S/W switch effected when a flash mod is done?

When I had the 260 kit done I never thought to ask if the new computer settings over ride the summer/winter switch on the console.
If I start with the "W" am I starting in second gear? I guess I could switch back and forth to see if there is a difference. Anyone who has a computer flash on their Crossfire know.

I can tell when mine is switched. Can you count how many times it shifts when excelerating? I would assume that if you put it in 4th gear instead of drive, with the switch on w it should only shift 2 times.

Yes - "W" starts in second unless you press the pedal enough to cause a downshift.
I would not think a flash would effect this.

Thanks for the input. Actually I have a Limited with auto. I switched back and forth from "W" to "S" while stepping hard on the pedal. I also have a sprint booster. There is a big difference between the two. "S" is much faster. Conclusion..A flash does not change the summer and winter setting when shifting.

Your right a flash does not change the S/W settings. If you use the "W" winter setting it is more sluggish. The "S" setting is the way to go for speed with the flash, sprint booster and other 265 kit modifications.
One thing you really feel is the car pulling like a turbo when floored at 60-70 mph. The larger injectors really kick in then and push you back in your seat.

I have the tvt flash and injectors. The w mode still works as advertised.
