Default electrical experts please!

I just got finished cleaning the interior with some plain water and a paper towel. I did wet around the mirror joystick but not that wet. Just a little water. I immediately went to adjust my mirror and it moved for a second and stopped. I can't get it to move again. Do you think it was the water? Do you think I did permanent damage. If I wait for it to dry, do you think it will work again? I DON'T want to bring it in. Help guys!

No... where is the fuse? In the main fuse panel on the driver side?

The owners manual says a 15 amp blue fuse in the engine compartment. Is that true? I bet it is the fuse! It worked for a second and then stopped. Now neither one of them will work.

I'd sure give it time to dry out before poppin' any fuses in there.

You might try blowing some air in the switch to help dry it out too...

I hope I didn't cause any serious damage. I just used a wet papertowl. It is not like I poured water on it. I hope it is the fuse because I am getting tired of bringing my car in.

Next time use alcohol wipes, I find they work much better then wet paper towels or cleaning sprays and they won't booger up the electricals.
