De-Badged, and what I did...

Looks great and as a woodworker I like the touch.
Although wood and sports are not the touch for me, I think that is what allows us all to have different rides and styles.
But now for the question.... Why did you want to de-badge her in the first place?

My car was already de-badged when I got it and I like it that way because it keeps 90+% of the people on the road wondering what it is that just beat the cr@p out of them! (SRT of course)
And it looks cleaner de-badged IMO.

I like to wash and wax my cars alot, the letters are hard to keep clean in between, and they tend to rip my very expensive micro-fiber towels to shreds. Also what Tighed1 said, keep 'em guessing.

I know the microfiber story all too well , but the crossfire badging is one that I really like so I was not sure if there was another reason.
Either way it looks neat and thanks for sharing.

I have truly 'debaged' mine, no C R O S S F I R E and no giant, ugly, fake chrome chrysler emblem. It is on a black coupe and damn is it clean. I like the 'ghost' outline of body panel where the chrysler 'winged' emblem used to be.
I have more people ask me, "what kind of car is that" and generally my response depends on my mood LOL

I will give credit where it is due, I saw Mika33's post about a complete debadge and was interested. Check out the pics here:

I have no pics of mine because there is about 9 inches of snow on the ground, but it is a black coupe, same as the one in the pics on the thread above. I would encourage anyone else to do this that is worried about it. Some unwaxed dental floss doubles over a few times and pull, then use 3m wax and adhesive remover (let it sit and keep applying) and the adhesive will come right off. Then use some light rubbing compound and a good polisher... done.
I think it makes it look much much CLEANER. What do you think?
