Its amazing with all the posts that I have seen about the rear hatch, no one has that same issue.
Do you hear a hissing sound when you are in your car and unlock the doors?
That may be an indication of an issue.
Has anyone tried opening their hatch after the doors were locked?
Try it. I did not realize till it went off when someone tried to get something out of my car.

I'm not doubting anyone, but I would like to know where 'dolfanjim' obtained his 10% recall information. I'd like to have items repaired for free as much as the next person, but if we all go bitchin' & moanin' to Chrysler and we're wrong, we're screwed for when we do have a legitimate case/claim - nobody is going to take you seriously. I work in the auto industry and I know manufacturers do not want recalls, they would much rather have warranty work as they make loads of $$$$$.

Yep .. me too. Please add me to your list for the seat heaters. This is my 2nd 2004 Crossfire with the very same seat heater issues. It's very expensive to have them put in the replacement heater elements as you know. The heaters went out on both Crossfires around 30k

I have a minor issue where if the passenger presses their feet on the floor in the car
the interior lights turn on. Anybody ever seen this? I have joked w/ my son that this
in fact is a hidden feature of the car.

I just bought this 2005 car w/ only 26.5k miles on it, about a week ago.
I'd tell you all how little I paid for it but you will just get mad at me (LOL)

Add me to the list. Drvers side seat heater went out about a week or so ago, and just today the hear hatch lock went out ! Sounds like a vacuum leak in the pass. side rear.

Hey - about the seat heater . . .I am not sure that mine even works.
If it is working it's not a heater but a lukewarmer (LOL).

Maybe I should sit on the passenger side and turn the seatwarmer on, as a "control group".

Two things ...
Yes! Sit in the passenger seat and see how IT feels.

The driver seat heater in my first 04 got SUPER NOVA / SURFACE OF THE SUN hot ... a few months before it went out. I don't know if the heater worked when I bought my second 04 (got it in the summer!).

Also, does anyone know why at the bottom of this page under the "rules" it says you "can't reply to posts" ??? WTH?

Leslie

Having a GF in the trunk when it's unlocked can have the same result.
