Since there is a lot of confusion about what they will look like, here are three different shots of the same car with the same set of sideskirts. These are the ones off the older SLK32's and not the newer ones.
Now with that said, NO MORE POSTING PICTURES AND CONFUSING PEOPLE! LOL

For your viewing pleasure... Enjoy!

what I was getting at in the photoshop I made was that the sharp crease at the rear of that skirt almost exactly mimics the sharp crease up by the fender. That is my original intention.

Now I'm open to interpretations on that but I think for design sake and in keeping with what the skirt should follow it should mimic that fender crease, almost folding the car at those points. Good job so far guys.

That's what I thought we agreed to.
I missed this post. Yes exactly. Follows the crease in our fender to a T.

A. Notice how our front fender has that crease that diminishes. then notice how the rear of the skirt diminishes.

B. Notice how the rear fender of our car is creased and grows, notice how the front of the skirt is creast and grows.

Its perfect dudes.

Here are some pictures I forgot to post earlier. They are the sideskirts off the car and what is behind there. Sorry for the sh*tty iPhone pictures.

Can anyone tell me how to get the side skirts (rockers) off my Crossfire? I would like to remove them and do a complete and thorough cleaning of them on a set of saw horses. They have a bunch of tar, road grim, etc. built up on them. Laying on the ground just won't get the job done I am after.

Thanks, James

James, here is what I remember. It's a been a week or so so bear with me.

1. There is are two 10mm bolts in the front underneath that need to be removed
2. Use a large standard screwdriver and turn the plastic retainer that is in each jackpoint. They are plastic and mine didn't screw out so I just took a smaller standard screwdriver and punched it through the plastic and then pried them out. They are just there as a compression fitting for the jackpoints. After gettign this out, just rock the jackpoint back and forth until it comes loose.
3. There are 4 or 5 plastic torx screws that come out. Again, they are just compression tipes but these you do not want to break.
4. Pull back the moulding at the front of the back wheelwell where the top seam is between the sheetmetal and the moulding. it will pop out and sound terrible but you won't wreck anything doing it. Don't pull it out too far though as you don't want to break any of the clips underneath.
5. Do the same in the front as you did in the back, only this time, you will need to pull the moulding from under the car down and towards you when facing it. Same thing in teh front as in back only much longer snap area.
6. Go back to the rear and pull the moulding up popping the 4-5 clips that hold the center of the moulding. these are right under the part that you see when looking at the sill plate on the car.
7. After popping all the clips, pull the mouldign towards the back of the car and with the door halfways open, pull the bottom of the moulding down and towards you while at the same time, pulling it back about an inch.
8. Go back to the front of the car and with the door all but closed, pull the mouldign clear of the vehicle a few inches.
9. Go tothe rear of the mouldign and pull it the remaining way off the car.
10. Admire your work and possibly grab a beer, pat yourself on the back and try to remember what worked the best for when you do the other side!

Hope this helps.

If you want viper exhaust, it's just a matter of sectioning the back 4 inches, cutting some metal out and welding back in steel to keep it structurally sound. Ya know, simple stuff!

It's called sectioning, you cut out what you need to, reinforce it and then call it a day! LOL Well it's sorta that easy!

JonnyA, just a point of clarification. If we go with the painted job, are we paying extra shipping because they are going back to you, and you have to ship them back to us?
