New Owner in Oklahoma
New Owner in Oklahoma
I"v been a member for a while and this is my first post. I have wanted one of these cars since I first saw a "concept" picture. Never thought I'd actually get one but I guess stranger thing have happened.
I am now one of the 70,000 or so special people. Got a 2007 base coupe, black, stick, with 1028 mi. on it.
What a BLAST. I know all about the "GRIN", really a great fun car.
Thanks for all the great info. I have been reading for months. This is a great forum and I hope I can contribute to it.
Thanks
Joejet
I think I'll go out to the garage and and GRIN

Re: New Owner in Oklahoma
Hey everybody, figured I'd just say hi as well. Similar story here, always loved the crossfire and through some odd twist of fate I should be picking up my '05 graphite 6spd next saturday. I am literally counting the hours (Waiting on the bank to give me the OK, everything should go through fine assuming nothing unexpected happens).
I guess I'll go back to twiddling my thumbs and prepping my face for all the grins...
*sigh* Its gonna be a loooonnnggg week

[quote=InfernoRedXfire]Congrats! Welcome to the permagrin club! What part of OK? Maybe you can come join us at a DFWXfires GTG sometime.

I live in OKC. I probably could meet you guys if you head north of DFW just a few miles. Maybe a casino by the State lines

Re: New Owner in Oklahoma
Thanks for the welcome, Stogey!!!! I have so much to learn about my "new" car (2005 Coupe Limited) with 16,128 miles on it! I have several projects to be taken care of and will need some of the advice and support I've read on the Forum.
When we brought the car home, my husband rifled his Hot Rod magazine to find the pic/article about the concept Crossfire. I fell in love then, but never thought I would own one. Buying it was totally out of character for us - I got off work three weeks ago on Friday afternoon - drover to dealership - test drove it and signed Monday. (After my husband went over every inch on Saturday).
We are looking forward to lots of good times in it.
We live in Monroe County, Kentucky. Actually one other Crossfire in our town!
